| Bethlehem / PNN - The work of iconographer Ian Ambrose is being featured this week at Dar Annadwa, the Cultural Center in Bethlehem's Old City. The opening begins at 5 pm Thursday at Dar Annadwa’s Al Khouf Gallery. Ambrose is a British expatriate who has been living and working in the Middle East for several years. A former Anglican priest who converted to Latin Catholicism, Ambrose now expresses his Christian faith, say supporters, through iconography. He has worked with Greek Orthodox, Latin rite Catholic and Melkite communities in Palestine, Jordan and Egypt. His local work includes the interior dome of St. Nicholas Church in Beit Jala.
