Launch of international campaign in solidarity with the children of the Gaza Strip

With half of the population of the Gaza Strip children, some three quarters of a million Palestinian kids are under Israeli siege.

Partners for Peace and Development and the International Committee to Lift the Siege on Gaza are undertaking a “campaign of solidarity with the children in the Gaza Strip who are suffering due to Israeli blockade.”

A spokesperson for the campaign said today that a delegation and delivery are scheduled to pass through the Rafah crossing from Egypt in early October.

The donations are focusing on aid for the handicapped, including 375 wheelchairs, in addition to food for special allergies and other medical equipment.

Some 100 people from “political figures to parliamentarians are joining the delegation,” says the spokesperson, and will accompany the arrival to Gaza.
