Eight Palestinians Sustain Injures as Israeli Army Raids Jenin Town
JENIN, December 3, 2015 (WAFA) – Eight Palestinians Thursday were shot and injured as Israeli force raided Qabatya town, south of Jenin, said Palestinian medics.
WAFA reported on Director of the Palestine Red Crescent Ambulance Department Mahmoud al-Sa‘di that Israeli forces cordoned the town off, setting up checkpoints at its entrances before raiding it.
During the raid, Israeli troops fired live and rubber-coated steel bullets, hitting and injuring eight locals, including two schoolboys and a teacher.
According to al-Sa‘di, Israeli soldiers shot and injured Ahmad Nazzal, and his cousin, Mahmoud, Qais Zakarna, Firas Abu Odeh and ‘Ala Hinthawi in their lower body with rubber-coated steel bullets. Besides, Tareq Saba‘na, 11, and Bilal Abu Zeid, 10, both schoolboys, were injured after being hit with rubber-coated steel bullets in their lower body.
A local teacher identified as Hala Khanfar, 22, sustained injuries in the head after being hit by a live round. Her condition remains unknown until the moment. K.F/M.H
