Israel Seizes 300 Dunums for Settlement Project near Nablus

NABLUS, March 31, 2014 (WAFA) – The Israeli authorities seized a 300-dunum of Palestinian-owned land in the village of Jalud to the south of Nablus as a prelude to establish a new settlement project in the area, according to Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the northern West Bank.

He told WAFA the “Israeli settlement subcommittee” passed military orders to confiscate large tracts of land in the village to launch a settlement project, consisting of an educational center, a cemetery and a ranch.
