Settlers cut Down 600 Olive Trees near Nablus
NABLUS, October 30, 2013 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Wednesday cut down around 600 olive trees in the village of Aynabus, south of Nablus, according to local sources.
They told WAFA that the owners were surprised in the morning to find that their trees have been cut down. They said settlers from the nearby illegal settlement of Yitzhar were the culprits.
Residents have to obtain special permits from the army in order to be able to reach and cultivate their land near the settlement.
